The basketball court of the University of Arkansas in Little Rock badly damaged by low temperatures

Subzero temperatures in Little Rock caused a water coil at the University of Arkansas Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock to rupture, causing extensive damage to the court.

Joe Foley Court was covered in water, so the school had no choice but to rip up the hardwood to let it dry.

Thursday’s men’s and women’s basketball games have been postponed and relocated, and it is unknown if the court is salvageable for the season.

Postponed basketball games will be moved to Simmons Bank Arena, and the school is reportedly in the process of find a temporary court for the rest of the season.

The men’s team is 4-9 on the season. The Trojan checkers are 3-8.
