New England Patriots running back Damien Harris supported Planned Parenthood during Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Harris had the Planned Parenthood logo on her shoes as part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign.

«Grateful for the opportunity to represent @PPAdvocacyMA and support women across America in the fight against regulation of their bodies,» he tweeted. «#YourBodyYourChoice.»

After Wednesday’s tweet, Harris was ruled out of the game Thursday. The Patriots lost the game 24-10.

Harris’ campaign for Planned Parenthood comes months after Roe v. Wade. After the Supreme Court issued its ruling, more than a dozen states initiated so-called «trigger laws» to ban most abortions.

In May, Harris reacted to a leak of the Supreme Court’s draft of the opinion.

«This is wrong,» he tweeted.

Harris was not the only one to share opinions on the subject. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow also reacted in June on Instagram.

The post, which had been shared on various social media accounts, began with «I’m not in favor of killing babies» and presented various what-ifs as to why a woman would choose to have an abortion.

«I’m all for Becky, who discovered in her 20-week anatomical scan that the baby she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life-sustaining organs,» the post read in part.

«I stand for Susan, who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to realize her attacker planted his seed in her when she tested positive a month later.»

The post rattled off several other hypotheses.

«You can argue and say I’m pro-abortion all you want, but the truth is I’m pro-life. Their lives. Women’s lives,» the post ended.
