Originally aired on the History Channel, fall of knights debuted in December 2017 and quickly gained a devoted following for its riveting storytelling and impressive production values. After just two seasons, the the show was unfortunately canceled.
Set in the 14th century, fall of knights is set in the dangerous world of the Knights Templar, a legendary order of warrior monks. Powered by a talented cast, including Tom Cullen, Jim Carter, and Mark Hamill, fall of knights brought the medieval era to life with its richly detailed settings, authentic costumes, and intense battle sequences.

Netflix has acquired the global streaming rights to fall of knights starting in 2018 and in other regions in 2019. In the United States, Season 1 arrived on October 12, 2018 with the second and what we now know to be the final season added in August 2019.
Now, exactly four years after the final season was added, it now shows a takedown notice for August 13 as your last day to watch and the actual takedown date for both seasons of fall of knights scheduled for August 14.
The removal currently applies to countries including:
- The Netherlands
- South Korea
- and others
When will Knightfall leave Netflix in other regions?
It’s worth noting that not all Netflix regions will lose the show on August 14, but it will slow Netflix’s output globally in the coming months and years.
Netflix in some regions like the UK and Canada will hang on to the show for a bit longer, but not for too long.
Our information currently suggests that countries like the UK will lose the title on December 1, 2023.
